First I'd like to thank all of you who kept my family in their prayers in the week my DH had surgery and the weeks following during his recovery. He has done very well and I feel truly blessed to have such wonderful cyber friends!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Next I made a birthday card for a dear friend last month and realized I had not shared it here on my blog. I am posting it today because I want to introduce you to these beautiful butterly stamp sets by Layers of Color. So pretty and so versatile!
The Layers of Color stamps were from 2 sets...Flutterescent clear art stamps and Butterfly Collector clear art stamps. I really love the way the triangular corner stamp made the pretty medallion centerpiece of this card! If you look very closely you can see my background paper is made with the Belle Brocade art stencil and embossed. All ink is by Tsukineko. I love their Brilliance galaxy Gold used here.
Here is a detail view:
The challenge for The Order of the Opus Gluei is to create it (anything)...and they will come! Cute challenge site and the gals have a fun sense of humor. ;D
The girls at Allsorts Challenge blog has an anything goes challenge as well... don't you just love those! Their DT have posted some lovely cards!
The Sweet Stampin Challenge team has a "celebrations" theme going on. I really like to make celebration cards of all sorts. They have the cutest blog header ... of course, I am partial to little birdies. ;D
At Totally Gorjuss they want to see cards made for someone special...my card is for someone very special!
Hope your Christmas shopping is done and you can relax for a few days!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hello, I'm so sorry it has taken me far too long to get over to your blog and comment - I was traveling over Christmas and am catching up.
Your card is very classic and sophisticated, and I love it. What a pretty design!
Thank you for your kind words about Opus Gluei, we want our blog to be open and fun to play with!
Again, thank you for participating with us and I hope that you are able to find the time to take on more of our challenges!

Hi there
I am thrilled you have joined in my "Free and Easy" theme at Allsorts this fortnight and confess to being astounded by the huge response.
I usually like to visit every entry and say a few words about their creations, but the sheer volume so far along with the Christmas preparations we all have to juggle means this is a "copied and pasted" message, for which I apologise.
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and wonderful holiday time
B x
Have you entered my candy
