The first time I heard this song was at a fireworks display in the small town where I lived. I think I cried...
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God bless the USA!
Lee Greenwood says it well. Have a safe and happy Independence Day. And do take the time to remember the men and women who died to preserve our right to enjoy our freedom and love our country.
God Bless The USA
by Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone, I'd worked for all my life. And I had to start again, with just my children and my wife.
I'd thank my lucky stars, to be livin here today. ‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom, and they can't take that away.
And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free. And I wont forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today. ‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land, God bless the USA.
All bold and beautiful card stock used in this card is from The PaperTemptress store. The wonderfully sturdy base is Heavenly White 120# Ultrasmooth. My Statue of Liberty is also stamped on a panel of the Heavenly White. The red is Wild Cherry Pop Tones and the blue is from my Basis Card Stock package. You can find the gold I used for my stars in the Mica/Metallic Card Stock package. Stamps can be found at Red Rubber Designs.
God bless the USA and God bless you!
