WARNING: This post contains happy Snowmen dancing everywhere. Viewer discretion advised! ;D Watch for flying snowballs and low hanging Christmas tree branches...
These fellas are really fun to color. I just stamped a bunch of them and sat, relaxed and enjoyed some coloring time. Do you do that? It's fun to figure out a project to use all of these guys.
By the way... they are from a stamp set called Snowman Blocks. You can find them in the featured stamp section in the Red Rubber Designs Store.
By the time I finished coloring I had enough images for a cute card and a Christmas tag set. I'm thinking cute teacher gift or a hostess gift.
Hmmmm, I have a friend who puts on a fun Christmas brunch during the holiday season ;D perfect little gift!
These flakes stamped in the card background are from the Snowflakes rubber stamp set.
I started with a little metal container from The RRD store. It's been in my stash for a few months now. I used tacky tape and glued the ribbon around the tin. Next to my little snow buddy... my favorite thing in embellishing this tag box is the hand made rose! I've been making these thing like crazy lately. I stuck some little punched snow flakes between the petals for fun. I just used my square Spellbinders die to cut the images out. Eyelets to match the metal box and a bit of twine... made for a fun and easy project.
I've been trying to get the hang of making the roses without glue showing everywhere. I've figured out a layering system for the petals that works pretty well and will be sharing in a tutorial early next week at the Red Rubber Designs Blog. So I hope you'll visit there Tuesday. ;D
