Radical Hospitality
Radical Hospitality has become a buzz word as churches strive to build their congregations and welcome people to Christ, so they may discover and enjoy the grace and love of Christ.
Hospitality is welcoming people in and caring for them. So what is Radical Hospitality? Radical does not mean fanatical, pushy or in your face behavior. Rather radical means outside the normal, doing more than is expected.
Hospitality is being friendly to friends, co-workers and even people we come across in the check out line in the grocery store. Radical Hospitality is inviting these same folks to church, going the extra mile to help them feel welcome and including them in activities.
Years ago my husband and I were invited to visit a church.Thank goodness for the people who invited us and showered us with Radical Hospitality! I'm a member of that very same church to this day!
Jesus welcomed and made a place for you and me.

If we prayerfully ask Him to help us recognize opportunities to invite people into our places of worship and into our lives who knows...
Our churches could be bursting at the seams with people learning and growing in the knowledge that Christ loves us so much he died on the cross for us. Everyone can come within the reach of his loving embrace!
Let's practice hospitality... I mean Radical Hospitality!
I pray for all of you and am happy you are here. I invite you to visit the Layers of Color blog each and every Friday for "Faith Art Friday". We'd love to show you Radical Hospitality!
