Wow... Time flies when you spend your days creating scenery back drops for an elementary school play! This is my first post for this week, yikes.   ;D

I do have a couple things to share today:

This image is so beautiful to me. Lady Liberty in all her majestic glory... makes me take a deep breath and thank my Heavenly Father that I was born in a country of freedom and thank the men and women who have sacrificed so much for us to keep that freedom. 

Red Rubber Designs carries this and other wonderful patriotic stamps. This stamp is called Liberty.

When I was making this card it reminded me of a scrapbook page I made a few years ago. My family and I were visiting the Naval Aviation Museum here in Pensacola. We love to hang out there, it's always changing and always interesting. 

Gotta love that boy!  LOL

This is my take on the challenge:

Very clean and simple...my household element is duct tape. I put a piece across a scrap of card stock and cut out Spellbinder's stars. Fun and I really like my duct tape stars I may have to do this again sometime!

My sentiment stamp is from Red Rubber Designs. Beautiful font and lovely sentiment. It's from the Savvy Sayings stamp set. 

 

1987... 25 years

Twenty-five years ago today I married my sweetheart. He is just as handsome, fun and charming as he was then. We've been through many struggles and triumphs together as most married couples do. I know we are very blessed to have weathered it all. He definitely makes me a better person!

Manly cards are not the easiest for me, but I did want to make a card for my sweetheart:

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge103

So sorry, this post is a bit late. I thought I set it to post for this morning but I can be a bit Typepad challenged sometimes. My fault, not theirs! 

The Midnight Madness sketch this week was right up my alley. Nice clean lines. I used Priscilla's Sweet Pea Flowers digital image this week. Such a pretty digi image! So much fun to color.

The Mother's Day sentiment is from one of my beloved Layers of Color stamp sets called Happy Wishes. This gorgeous Spellbinders tag is from the Fancy Tags set S4-235. I recently loaded up my Grand Caliber with all sorts of scraps and Spellbinders tag sets and now I can just go to my pre-cut tags and choose one when I need it... so convenient!

P.S. Our trip to Atlanta was quick but fun! Our hotel was GORGEOUS! The kids had so much fun swimming in the pools. They were in the water every chance they got. Fun stuff!
