Shhh....here it is.....
I have been invited to join the Layers of Color Design Team!!!
I'm still walking on air and so thrilled. This company carries the most beautiful stamps and art stencils around...and the design team is made up of and affiliated with some of the most talented mixed media and paper craft artists.
I look forward to learning so much from them. And just as important if not more, they are so very caring and supportive of one another and everyone they come in contact with!
If you take a look at their blogs you will see what I mean!

The Layers of Color stamps and stencils have been a joy to work with and I will have so much fun sharing projects made with them with you!
Last week I made a pretty little red paper slipper to share... well I caught "slipper" fever and made more! I love making these little beauties. You can find the template at Stampington & Company.
Above is a framed set of the slippers.
(You can click on pictures for a closer view.)

This yellow poinsettia slipper was made with Layers of Color Poinsettia Frame cling art stamp.
This slipper was made using Layers of Color Starflower Frame cling art stamp.

This red poinsettia slipper was made with Layers of Color Poinsettia Frame cling art stamp.
The "frame" cling art stamps are designed to work with your nestibilites by Spellbinders. And do so beautifully!
I have chosen to "fussy" cut the yellow and red poinsettias from the Poinsettia Frame cling art stamp to adorn the top and bottom slippers. The top of the black slipper was cut from the Layers of Color Starflower Frame cling art stamp. The inside soles and the inside panel of the picture frame are stenciled using 4 different Layers of Color art stencils; Belle Brocade, Natural Flourish,Vintage Medallion and Botanical Swirls. The ink is tuxedo black by Tsukineko. Copics were used for coloring.
